I've been in publishing for a while. Each of those publishers had some clearly defined focus, a specific type of thing they wanted to publish. OHWPress is a different beast. OHWPress is a way for me to read all the things I want to read that I can't read yet. I'm not creating the fanciest looking stuff but I am creating the good stuff.
At First
Our first title was a collection of a distant relative's surprisingly good collection of poems.
Our next batch of titles are going to be focused on the Netherlands. I'm learning Dutch and I'd like to have the basics to learn a language with me all the time on my phone and Kindle.
On Third
I'm creating our third title: a copy of the Dutch equivalent of the King James Bible with footnotes and possibly the English Kind James alongisde it. After that there will be a grammar and a dictionary. I've got a strong candidate for the grammar.
And, I'm looking for a suggestions on a good print Dutch/English dictionary and other either print or web-based Dutch Language resources.
And Second...
Before third is second. In our case, I hope that will be a new translation of the classic literature at the heart of Tai Chi Quann. If I can tie the loose ends down, I hope to have this one available for free this week.
Point to the Stands
But, my interests don't stop there. I've got a wide range of interests. And, like I said, OHWPress is a way for me to read all the things I want to read that I can't read, yet. If you think I'd want to read it, tell me about it and why I want to read it. And, I'll post more about what I'm thinking about, what I'm interested to give you hints.
